【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifiesmethodsfordeterminationofthestabilityofalltypesofnon-domesticseating,otherthanofficeseating,thatcanbeusedbyadults.Forseatingthatcanbeconvertedintobeds,thisstandardappliesonlytotheseatingconfiguration.Thestandarddoesnotapplytodomesticseating,whichisspecifiedinBSEN1022:1996.Chairstabilitycanbedeterminedbyeitherexperimentalorcalculativemethods.Bothmethodsarebasedonthesameforcesandpointsofapplication.Iftheresultofthecalculativemethodisuncertainormarginaltheresultsshouldbechecked,ifpossible,bytheexperimentalmethod.Thecalculativemethodisinvalidforchairswhichvisiblyflexunderhorizontalloadsandforthetestsspecifiedin8.2,8.3,8.4.
